Try an IPTV player in your browser

Open KimberPlay without installing an app, then add your own M3U or Xtream source. Browser playback depends on how your source is served and which media formats your browser supports.

Check these three requirements first

1. A secure source

The hosted web player uses HTTPS. Browsers can block requests from that page to an insecure HTTP source. Use your provider’s HTTPS address when available; changing the letters in a URL does not add HTTPS support to its server.

2. Permission for browser requests

CORS is the server’s permission for another website to read its responses. Your source must allow the requests needed for its playlist, guide and streams. An address that opens directly in a tab can still fail inside a web player.

KimberPlay cannot grant that permission on the source’s behalf. Ask the source operator about browser compatibility, or use the desktop app. Do not disable browser security or share your credentials with an unknown proxy.

3. Supported audio and video

A browser needs support for the stream’s container and codecs, which describe how its media is packaged and encoded. Support varies by browser, operating system and hardware. A video that works in a native player may not work in a browser.

Import an authorized playlist

Open the web player and complete the first-run setup.
Select M3U and paste the playlist URL, or select Xtream and enter the server, username and password separately.
Choose the content you want, wait for the import, and test a channel.
If playback works but the schedule does not, check the guide URL and channel matching.

Your library stays with this browser

The web player stores its library and settings on this device. Clearing site data, using a different browser profile, or closing a private session can remove or separate that data. Browser storage limits can also prevent a save.

If the player reports an unsaved playlist, keep the window open, free disk space or allow site storage, and retry. Plus backup exports include source credentials: keep the file private. A backup is useful before clearing site data or changing browsers.

What the browser version does not include

The web player does not provide DVR recording, multi-view, Cloud Sync or control from the phone remote. Catch-up depends on both the source and browser compatibility. A Plus key does not remove browser security restrictions.
