Xtream Codes player for Windows

An Xtream Codes login is three fields: a server address, a username, and a password. KimberPlay on Windows asks the server for live categories, movies, and series, and takes the guide from that same account. You supply the login. The app supplies the player.

The three fields

Enter them separately. A playlist URL and an Xtream server address are different inputs. For example, a server might look like https://provider.example:8443 with the username and password in their own fields. That address is an illustration, not a working service. Do not post the real values anywhere public — they are the login to your account.

Because the player can ask for categories one at a time, movie and series metadata is usually richer than a single M3U line: artwork, plot, seasons, and episodes when the account provides them. The guide comes with the account rather than as a separate file you have to hunt down. If you were only given an M3U URL, use that instead; both land in the same library. The M3U and Xtream comparison is the longer version.

Playback on the desktop

The Windows app plays through the bundled mpv engine, so MKV, HEVC, AC3, and raw TS streams work, and live HLS has been exercised on a Windows 11 machine. Audio and subtitle tracks, aspect ratio, and a sleep timer sit in the player. Plus on the desktop includes DVR recording, more than one playlist, backup, reminders, and skins. Multi-view, Cloud Sync, and the phone remote are Fire TV and Android TV features, not Windows features.

Download for Windows

Install, SmartScreen, and the import checks — including content types, regions, and quality — are the Windows setup guide. If a recording fails, that page is also where destination folder, disk space, and the need to leave the PC running are spelled out.

No content included

KimberPlay provides no content or channels. It does not sell, host, or recommend playlists. Use a playlist you are authorized to access.

The same three fields on a television are the Xtream Codes player for Android TV. The Linux build is the same desktop player: IPTV player for Linux.
