An IPTV player for Samsung TVs — no stick required

Samsung sells more smart TVs than anyone, and almost every serious IPTV player skips them — TiviMate included — because a Samsung TV runs Tizen, not Android, and supporting it means building a second app from scratch. We are building that second app.

Honest status, updated as it changes

KimberPlay for Samsung TV exists and runs today: playlist onboarding (M3U and Xtream login), channel groups, favorites, a now/next guide with the same conservative name-matching as the Android app, and remote-first navigation. It is now in hardware testing against Samsung’s native video pipeline before we submit it to the Samsung app store. No release date promises until that testing says so — this page is the opposite of vaporware marketing, on purpose.

What it will mean for your setup

What you can do today

If your Samsung TV has a Fire TV Stick or any Android TV device attached, KimberPlay already runs there — the two-minute install guide covers it, and the Free tier includes live TV with the full guide. Want to know the moment the Samsung app ships? Write support@kimberplay.com with the subject “Samsung TV waitlist” and we’ll tell you first — that list also gets the beta invite.
