Comparison

IPTV players compared: KimberPlay, TiviMate, IPTV Smarters Pro, Sparkle TV, OTT Navigator

All five are players, not content services: each plays the M3U or Xtream source you bring. They differ in which devices they run on, what the free version includes, and what the paid upgrade costs. This page sets the publicly verifiable facts side by side, with a date and a source for each one. We make KimberPlay, so weigh our column accordingly, and check the sources.

Notes on each player

TiviMate

The long-established Android TV player, known for its dense, cable-style guide. It is on Google Play for Android TV and Google TV; Premium is managed through a separate Companion app. Our detailed, dated side-by-side is on the KimberPlay vs TiviMate page.

IPTV Smarters Pro

Listed for Apple devices as well as Android. The name is also the hardest to pin down: the app stores carry several similarly named apps from different publishers with different features, and we could not confirm which listing is the original developer’s. Check the publisher before installing or paying.

Sparkle TV

A TV-focused player whose developer publishes its Plus prices, including a monthly option. Beyond IPTV playlists it reads HDHomeRun tuners and Jellyfin servers. Its store listing notes that most features are only available on Android TV and Google TV.

OTT Navigator

An Android player with a premium tier reported at under a dollar a month, and EPG from several sources. Two Google Play entries use the name under different publishers, with different descriptions; the sources here refer to the Scillarium Studio listing.

KimberPlay

Has Windows, Linux and browser versions alongside the TV app. The TV app (Fire TV and Android TV) has the full feature set; the desktop and web players have fewer features, listed in the feature matrix. It is not on Google Play yet, it does not run on Vega OS Fire TV Sticks yet, and it is newer than the others here.

Quick answers

Which IPTV player should I choose?

Start from your device. On Android TV, Google TV and Fire OS devices, all five have Android TV versions, so compare the free version and the paid features you actually need. On an iPhone, iPad or Apple TV, look for a player with an Apple App Store listing, such as IPTV Smarters Pro; KimberPlay has no Apple app, though its web player runs in a browser where your provider allows it. On a Windows or Linux PC, KimberPlay has a desktop app. Then load the same playlist into two players for a week before paying for either.

Do any of these IPTV players include channels?

No. KimberPlay, TiviMate, IPTV Smarters Pro, Sparkle TV and OTT Navigator are players: each one plays a source you add yourself. Paying for a player unlocks app features, not content. Use only sources you are authorised to access.
